Want to find out how KDHE and KSU TAB can help you to address those eyesore properties in your community and bring them back to beneficial use?

Then plan on attending this free workshop presented in cooperation between the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) Bureau of Environmental Remediation and the Technical Assistance to Brownfields Program at Kansas State University (KSU TAB).

We will be focusing on the following topics:

  • How do I identify brownfields in my community?
  • What are Phase I and II environmental site assessments? Do I need them?
  • What is a NESHAP (National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants) assessment?
  • How KDHE can help you if site cleanup is needed.
  • Free technical assistance from KDHE and KSU TAB.
  • Upcoming brownfield grant opportunities.

Who should attend?

Local government officials, key community stakeholders, economic and community development organizations, not-for-profit entities, community groups, private citizens, and others working to promote revitalization in Kansas communities.

Attendance is free, but registration is required.
