Green Roots Initiative Workshop Series

KSU TAB, the Indiana Brownfields Program, and the Delta Institute have partnered with the nonprofit GreenRoots Initiative to empower local stakeholders in identifying and mapping brownfield sites in a workshop series. Through hands-on training, participants learn to collect regulatory and environmental data to guide safe, community-driven redevelopment. State of Indiana resources - including the Phase I Initiative and Petroleum Orphan Site Initiative - support these efforts. Delta Institute has developed a comprehensive GIS map featuring asset mapping and site prioritization tools, helping communities move from planning scenarios to actionable steps for revitalizing priority sites.
