Join us for the Tribal Brownfields Grant Management Training Series, a collaborative event hosted by Tribal TAB and featuring current Tribal Brownfields grantees, EPA Tribal Project Officers, and the Tribal TAB team from KSU and ANTHC.

This training series is designed for anyone currently managing a Tribal Response Program (TRP 128(a)) or 104(k) competitive EPA Brownfields grant—or those considering applying. Whether you’re new to grant management or looking to strengthen existing systems, this series will help ensure you're on the path to compliance and ensuring a sustainable brownfields program.

What You’ll Gain:

Participants will walk away with practical skills and tools to manage and strengthen their Brownfields programs, including:

  • An understanding of all types of Brownfields grants, and which may be right for your community
  • How to interpret and manage your cooperative agreement
  • Best practices for budget planning, amendments, and financial tracking
  • Strategies for staying aligned with your work plan and reporting effectively
  • Ways to build or strengthen internal systems for smoother grant administration
  • Candid peer exchange to determine grant readiness

Why Attend?

Managing a Brownfields grant requires more than just good intentions—it requires clear systems, capacity, and compliance. This series will help you avoid costly missteps, such as grant fund recalls, while empowering you with the confidence and knowledge to move your program forward.

What Makes This Training Unique:

  • Led by Tribal voices who’ve navigated the grant process firsthand
  • EPA insights directly from project officers familiar with program requirements
  • Hands-on support from the Tribal TAB team with years of experience in capacity building
  • Interactive peer discussions to share lessons learned and build community connections

Don’t miss this opportunity to strengthen your grant management skills and set your program up for long-term success.
