Please join KSU TAB and Wyoming DEQ for a two-day in-person brownfields workshop!

Tuesday, July 15th, 2025, 12:30pm-5:30pm MST


Day 1: The first day of this workshop is designed to introduce Wyoming communities to brownfields, how they can be cleaned up, and the resources available to address brownfield sties. Topics will include: 

  • Brownfields 101
  • State-Level Brownfields Resources
  • Federal-Level Brownfield Resources
  • An introduction to Cleanup Methodologies

A networking social will follow!


Wednesday, July 16th, 2025, 9:00am-3:30pm MST


Day 2: The second day of the workshop will begin with a review of Day 1's contents, followed by a conversation about economic opportunities present in brownfield sites, community engagement opportunities, and several case studies of successful redevelopments. After lunch, we will discuss marketing brownfield sites for redevelopment and other resources that pair well with brownfield programs.
