The EPA Region 6 Brownfields Team is happy to announce the in-person Regional Brownfields Conference being held August 25-27, 2026 in Dallas, Texas.
This will be a great opportunity to meet with the EPA R6 Brownfields Team, network with other grantees and stakeholders, and enjoy downtown Dallas.
The conference will focus on the three following aspects of the Brownfields Program: technical assistance, program operations, and partnerships. Here is a quick look at the conference agenda:
Day 1 (9 am to 4 pm) | Foundations: Bridging the Gap with Technical Assistance
Learning Outcomes from Day 1:
• Identify eligibility pathways and liability protections
• Establish technical assistance intake process, opportunities, and scope
Day 2 (9 am to 4 pm) | Build Your Bridge: BF 201 Program Operations
Learning Outcomes from Day 2:
• Develop program operations plan
• Define QA and EPA oversight roles
Day 3 (9 am to 3 pm) | Strengthen your Bridge: Partnerships & Funding
Learning Outcomes from Day 3:
• Map cross-agency funding routes
• Identify strategic partnerships
