Shelby Powell

Project Coordinator

Shelby Powell is a Brownfield Coordinator at the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where she collaborates with state and federal agencies, stakeholder organizations, and local governments to maximize redevelopment opportunities by leveraging the Targeted Brownfield Assessment (TBA) program. She also serves as a Voluntary Action Program (VAP) coordinator, guiding communities through environmental remediation and site revitalization. With five years of prior experience in environmental consulting, Shelby specializes in site assessment and environmental due diligence. She holds a B.S. in Environmental and Conservation Biology from Kent State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration from Ohio University.
