The Indiana Brownfields Program offers low-interest loans (LIL) to qualifying Indiana borrowers (Applicants) for acquisition of, and limited environmental assessment, environmental remediation, and qualified demolition activities at, eligible brownfield sites with hazardous substances and/or petroleum contamination. The purpose of the LIL incentive is to facilitate public or private redevelopment of brownfield sites throughout the state by making low-to-zero interest loans with flexible terms available to eligible Indiana political subdivisions, non-profits, and private, for-profit entities to finance environmental cleanups. This is state funding. Applications are on a rolling basis. Contact Bonny Elifritz at 317-234-1688 or belifritz@ifa.in.gov
