Targeted Brownfield Assessment Program

State Funding & Resources

A Targeted Brownfields Assessment (TBA) is conducted at no-cost to eligible entities and includes a record review of historic land use, asbestos survey, geophysical survey, and limited on-site sampling and laboratory analysis, to determine the level and probable extent of possible soil and groundwater contamination.
