Michaela Shirley

Program Specialist
Michaela Shirley, MCRP has worked as a TAB partner since 2017. Along with her colleague Dr. Theodore Jojola, they serve as experts in indigenous planning. Michaela is a Program Specialist with the Indigenous Design and Planning Institute (iD+Pi) at the University of New Mexico, holds an Bachelor’s in Urban Planning from Arizona State University, a Master’s in Community And Regional Planning from the University of New Mexico and is an enrolled tribal member of the Navajo Nation. Dr. Jojola is a Distinguished Professor/Regents’ Professor in the Community and Regional Planning Program & Director of iD+Pi, and an enrolled member of the Pueblo of Isleta.
