The Brownfield Redevelopment Program can assist local governments, community service non-profits, and area economic development authorities with brownfield site redevelopment, by providing technical and financial assistance for pre-acquisition property environmental assessments and site inspections for hazardous materials, as well as post-acquisition cost share grants for environmental clean up or hazardous substance abatement.
