Brownfields State Response Grant - Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ)

State Funding & Resources

Site specific grants of approximately $50,000 (up to $200,000 per site). Provides funding and technical assistance to assess and clean up property where reuse is complicated by the presence or potential presence of hazardous substances or pollutants. Local Governments, non-profits, Tribes and hospital, school, police and fire districts may apply for funding through ADEQÂ’s Brownfields Assistance Program. Each fiscal year (July 1 through June 30), the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) provides funding under a State Response Grant for Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, Asbestos and Lead-Based Paint Surveys and Asbestos and Lead-Based Paint Abatements.
