KSU TAB and its partners create, maintain and make available free web-based E-Tools for communities and tribes. KSU TAB and the other Regional TAB providers host workshops at national conferences and virtual events across the country and provide one-on-one technical assistance to communities, sharing each other’s unique expertise and partners.
KSU TAB services are free to communities and tribes. We work closely with federal and state agencies to assist communities/tribes in their revitalization efforts of brownfields sites. KSU TAB assistance is tailored to the specific needs of a community/tribe and is usually coordinated through the city, tribal or non-profit brownfields project manager.

Kansas State University’s Technical Assistance to Brownfields program helps communities and other stakeholders with their brownfields redevelopment efforts. Our digital tools make it easier to write grants and conduct site inventories for brownfields cleanup and revitalization projects.
We assist tribes in all EPA Regions who are inventorying, assessing and redeveloping/reusing brownfields. We also provide online tools and a database to create site inventories, manage data and write proposals for EPA funding.
