Brownfields Grant-Writing Strategies Virtual Workshop

The free brownfields virtual workshop will be offered as a two-day event focused on information for those entities interested in applying or reapplying for U.S. EPA Brownfields Grants: 

• FY 2024 Multipurpose Grants combined annual appropriation and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funds (guidelines anticipated: September 2023)
• FY 2024 Assessment Grants combined annual appropriation and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funds (guidelines anticipated: September 2023)
• FY 2024 Cleanup Grants combined annual appropriation and Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funds (guidelines anticipated: September 2023)

Each day will include a special highlight and focus on a couple sections of the grant guidelines followed by small group exercises.

Note: Optional one-on-one working sessions for those intending to apply for a FY23 EPA brownfields grant will be offered at the conclusion of Day 2. Sign up is required and may be done during registration or by sending an email to Amy Yersavich. Eligible entities requesting a working session may invite multiple team members to participate in the requested working session. 

Who Should Attend? Local governments, regional districts/councils, land banks and non-profit organizations along with their grant writers and others working to promote brownfields and economic development in Ohio.
