Marshalltown, IA

Following two natural disasters, the rural city of Marshalltown, Iowa took action to acquire and demolish brownfield buildings on Main Street that had been irreparably damaged. The City engaged KSU TAB, EPA Region 7, and other partners to assist with developing new visions for these brownfields and downtown. KSU TAB created beautiful renderings of the community’s visions for these Main Street brownfields. The City of Marshalltown is now well on their way to turning their visions into reality and revitalizing their downtown.
