Cleanup grants provide funding up to $500,000 for a grant recipient to carry out cleanup activities at a single or multiple brownfield site(s). These grants are available to state, local, and tribal governments; quasi-governmental entities, regional councils/commissions, and nonprofits. The applicant must own the site.
