Dr. Colette Santasieri and her colleagues, Sean Vroom, and Gary White have operated the TAB program at New Jersey Institute of Technology for over ten years. They have over 85 years of combined professional experience, and serve as experts in Planning and design of sustainable and resilient communities, properties, and civil infrastructure systems; regional planning; strategic planning; capital programming; community visioning for redevelopment; transit oriented development; port-city relationships; brownfields redevelopment; identifying and analyzing a project’s impacts on socio-economic, natural, and man-made settings as well as on environmental justice communities; and educating elected officials, government staff, nonprofits, communities, and students on various urban, infrastructure, environmental, and regulatory topics. In addition to her assistance with TAB Dr. Santasieri is the Executive Director of the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) Technical Assistance to Brownfields Community Program with 35 years of professional experience in environmental, infrastructure, land use planning, and community development, in both the public and private sectors and holds an PhD in Urban Systems, MS in Civil Engineering, and BS in Environmental Planning and Design. Sean is the Director of the NJIT Technical Assistance to Brownfields Community Program with 25 years of experience as an environmental planner in both the public and private sectors and holds an BS in Environmental Planning and Design. Elizabeth is a Project Manager for NJIT Technical Assistance to Brownfields Community Program with over 20 years of professional experience in the private and public sectors in brownfield redevelopment and environmental remediation projects and holds a BS in Environmental Science, is a Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP) in the state of New Jersey, and is a Licensed professional geologist in the state of New York. Gary is a Project Manager for NJIT Technical Assistance to Brownfields Community Program with 7 years of experience in environmental remediation in the public and private sectors and holds a BS in Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a minor in Planning and Public Policy, and Graduate Certification in Management Technology.
