The Technical Assistance to Brownfields Program (TAB) at Kansas State University and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) invite you to attend this free brownfield resources roundtable for KS communities.
This roundtable will cap off KDHEs recent brownfield webinar series. Don’t worry if you missed the series, the videos can be accessed via the registration link below. We will also provide a brief recap.
Your Sites – Our Solutions: Pre-registered communities will have the opportunity to share site information with a panel of experts in an open forum. The panel will provide feedback on how to address site-specific issues and develop a comprehensive strategy for redevelopment tailored to your community’s needs. Following the panel response, all workshop attendees will have an opportunity to provide additional feedback through an open question and answer period. You may be your neighbor’s inspiration!
Do you have a redevelopment project in mind and need advice on “Where do we go from here?” Simply complete the redevelopment questionnaire as completely as possible and follow instructions on the form to submit. If any of the information is not known or is unavailable, state so. The information provided will be used to brief our panel on your site-specific issues.
Who should attend? Local and regional government officials, economic and community development organizations, lenders and real-estate professionals, property owners, and anyone interested in learning about brownfields and financial resources for local redevelopment.
